BODY SUGARING

First brazilian.

“We always make the uncomfortable, comfortable”

What is the difference between Brazilian, Bikini and G-string sugaring?

For a bikini, we’ll clean up just the sides and top of your bikini line, anything that would show while wearing a bathing suit. For a G-string, we do the sides and top, (as with the bikini) but the thing that makes it different is that we’ll also do the back — in essence, we’ll remove any hair that might peek out if you’re wearing a thong. A Brazilian is the removal of all pubic hair; although if you like, we can leave a strip of hair.

Ingrown hairs are something I am prone to. What can I do?

There are a few basic things you can do to reduce and get rid of ingrown hairs. First and foremost, exfoliate! Using a natural bristle body brush (we have them in stock), exfoliating cloth or brush, or body scrub two to three times per week you’ll keep dead skin cells from trapping new hair growth under your skin. The second step is to keep your skin healthy and moisturized. A good rule of thumb is, whenever your skin gets wet (after every shower or bath) moisturize.

How long should I wait to return?

For most services we recommend coming in every four to six weeks in order to have as much hair as possible growing at the same time. Timing may vary depending on your growth cycle and how long you’ve been sugaring. Five weeks for Brazilians, four weeks for under arms and six to eight weeks for legs

I started my period, help?

We can still sugar! Please be sure to tuck the tampon string away and kindly let us know.

What can I expect for my first Brazilian?

We are almost always ontime, please arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment and come to the main door exactly at your appointment time. Please ring the doorbell. We will come and help you to our sugaring room, you will have your privacy in order to get undressed and ready on the bed, covering with a towel we will provide you. We do not offer disposeable underwear and ask that you not wear underwear for Brazilian, G-string or bikini as it makes it extremely difficult to maneuver cleanly.

After a quick cleanse, we use a new clean glove to gather your sugar and get started. The sugar is applied against the hair growth and flicked off in the direction it grows. There will be no strips or sticks and usually the whole Brazilian is done with the same sugar.

This service is very quick partly because of the method (no back and forth to the pot) asnd because we are expert and have many years of experience.

After, we may tweeze any missed hairs. Keep in mind if your hair is too short or you are a shaver, we may not get every single hair. Keep coming for best results.

We will provide a wipe to you as we leave and meet you at the checkout.

How long does my hair have to be?

Hair must be 1/4 inch long minimum. Think of a grain of rice. If it is shorter, you will not get all the hair. If it is longer than 1/2 inch, it will hurt more but can be done. FOR LEGS hair needs to be as long as possible. 1/2 inch minimum. Consider exfoliating legs a few days before you come in, this will ensure the hair is lifted off the skin and ready for extraction.

I heard sugaring dosen't hurt?

While sugaring is kinder to your skin than razors and wax, it is not pain free. We do remove hair from the follicle so expect some discomfort. This discomfort varies from person to person as well. Most women find it rather tolerable. We do large sections especially on legs and arms so the process is speedy.

Can I use a topical numbing cream?

This is not recommended. The skin needs to be dry and lotion free for the sugar to adhere properly and in our experience, it really doesn't help!

Sugar is exceptionally safe for your skin – it is also the most hygienic hair removal option. Your sugar = Your treatment. Once your service is complete, your sugar is disposed of. There are no dipping sticks or communal pots.

Sugar is never heated, therefore it will never burn the skin. It is the most natural, safe, hygenic way to remove hair from all parts of the body.
